Greg Tweardy-Quarterback 

Greg Attended Bethel Park High School and was a

  • 2 year starter and 4 year letterman and was
  • 1st Team All Conference- 2002
  • He was Elected to Fab 22 -2002 and was a
  • Finalist for Almanac's Athlete of the Year 2002.
  • Greg was the recipient of the Papa John's Student Athlete Scholarship Award 2002.
  • He Attended Washington & Lee University (Div III, ODAC=Old Dominion Athletic Conference) and was a 3 Year Starter and Letterman. He set 11 School Records and was 2 Second Team All-Conference Awards-2005, 2006. Greg was also Second Team All State in Virginia-2006 and 3 time ODAC player of the week.
  • He is currently employed by Tweardy & Associates Financial Services as a Junior Producer/Agent. 
     

Eric Kasperowicz-Quarterback 

Eric was a four-year starter at QB and Safety for the North Hills High School Indians and led them to their first A.A.A.A. WPIAL and Pennsylvania State Championship.  He was named Parade All-American, Pennsylvania State AAAA Player of the Year, and was the QB in the annual Big 33 All-Star game.  Kasperowicz was highly recruited out of high school and chose the University of Pittsburgh where he was a two year starter at linebacker. He was recently bestowed with a great honor--voted the All-Time Greatest Player in Western Pennsylvania (WPIAL) history by the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review beating out 100 years of NFL greats from the region like Mike Ditka, Dan Marino, Tony Dorsett, and LaVar Arrington.    Eric currently is an assistant coach at North Hills High School and teaches health & physical education. 

Rick Roth-Quarterback/Receivers

Rick has coached high school football in the WPIAL for ten years.  Pubished in Coach and Athletic Director Magazine, a national publication in 2003.  Experienced QB consultant for spread pass offenses most recently at South Fayette and North Catholic High Schools.  WR coach for Metro Index Scouting Camp for the past four years.  Spent three years as a AAAA Coordinator for Butler Area High School.  National GTE Academic All-American in 1995 at Saint Francis University (PA) where he was a team captain and starter at LB.

Jeff Simmons-Quarterback/Receivers

Entering his third season on the Carnegie Mellon staff is Jeff Simmons. Simmons will be coaching the wide receivers in 2007. 
Simmons is the grandson of former Carnegie Mellon University football coach Chuck Klausing. Klausing later coached at Kiski Prep where Simmons was his quarterback, winning the Inter-Scholastic Prep School League his senior year. Simmons then played his collegiate career at Slippery Rock University from 1994-1997 as a quarterback.  
Simmons and his grandfather, Klausing, continue to coach at the Team Klausing Wing-T Football Camps each summer throughout the United States. The camp promotes team skills, life skills and team leadership. Simmons has also co-authored two books with his grandfather. 
Simmons’ coaching resume includes a high school quarterback and defensive secondary coach at Kiski Prep, quarterback coach at Seneca Valley, Gateway and most recently at Shaler High School.

TJ Plack –Quarterback/Receivers

 
Coach Plack will be entering his tenth year of football coaching as he leaves his Alma matter, South Fayette Township High School to join the Peters Township football program as their Offensive Coordinator. Coach Plack began coaching South Fayette’s wide receivers and defensive backs. He took over as interim head football coach in 2002 as South Fayette moved up from A to AA level competition. On the heels of a 4-3 conference record, Coach Plack was officially named South Fayette’s head coach. Over the next four seasons, Coach Plack led his teams to three consecutive WPIAL playoff appearances and tallied an overall record of 26-13. 
 
Brian Dawson-Quarterbacks

Brian was a record setting Quarterback a Washington and Jefferson College. He is currently the Offensive Coordinator and Bentworth High School and a Computer teacher at Elizabeth Forward  Middle Schoo l in the Elizabeth Forward School District

Brad Holtzapple

Brad is the receiver coach at Moniteau High School. He has been coaching for the last nine years and has worked at the Penn State Football Camp where he coached the receiver postion.
